Description: Over The course of the past two years, I’ve been heavily involved in both the production and creative evolution of ad campaign materials for Direxion, a mutual fund and ETF investment firm and one of Sametz Blackstone’s most prolific clients. Each campaign currently consists of a print design, a suite of 7 different sizes (300×250, 120×600, 160×600, 300×600, 728×90, 640×480, 760×600) of web ads, a standard definition Television Ad for display on Bloomberg TV and CNBC, and a landing page. At the onset of a new campaign, our team collaborates to develop the visual and intellectual concept that will be carried across each medium.

I, along with the designers involved, produce sketches for the client to review. Once the client has approved a concept, I am responsible for creation of the full suite of web ads, the TV ad, and the landing page. I work with designers on asset production and to maintain a high standard of visual consistency, but am the primary creative force behind all motion graphics and effects involved. The web ads are created in Flash, the TV ad is produced using Motion and Final Cut Pro, and the Landing Pages are hand coded in HTML5/CSS and delivered to the client’s webmaster for final implementation.

Snow Day

When: Spring 2010
Classification: Hobby
Primary Role: Writer, Director, Producer
Status: Complete

Description: In late 2009 I decided to get a group of friends together and try our hand at making a short film. I wrote, produced, and directed “Snow Day,” a personal project about enduring working through the winter in Boston. The experience was great fun and everyone involved learned a lot. Special thanks to my fantastic cast and crew.
